| O código florestal brasileiro define como áreas de proteção permanente (APPs) os topos dos morros. Estes foram regulamentados pela resolução CONAMA 303/2002, que estabelece que o terço superior de morros e montanhas, cuja elevação ultrapasse 50 m e declividade seja superior a 30 %, devam ser protegidos. O presente trabalho aplicou e avaliou o uso de modelagem em Sistema de Informações Geográficas para determinar automaticamente áreas de preservação permanente para topos de morros e montanhas, que dispensa a interferência de um operador na definição dos topos e bases dos morros. | Der ökologische Gesamtzuchtwert (ÖZW) ist ein Gesamtzuchtwert, der der Zuchtzielsetzung in der ökologischen Milchviehhaltung entspricht. Der ÖZW stellt eine „ökologische Reihung“ der aktuellen Besamungsbullen dar und ist ein wichtiges Hilfsmittel für die Zuchtarbeit im ökologisch arbeitenden Milchviehbetrieb. In den Ausführungen wird der ÖZW in seinen Einzelheiten beschrieben und aufgezeigt, dass ein ökologischer Zuchtwert nicht mit einem ökologisch orientierten Zuchtprogramm gleichzusetzen ist. | Os objetivos deste trabalho foram avaliar o potencial de algumas espécies de adubos verdes em integrar um sistema de produção intercalar com a primeira soqueira da cana-de-açúcar e seu efeito na produtividade, bem como sua capacidade de reciclar nutrientes e fixar nitrogênio simbioticamente. | Esse estudo analisa, por meio de um estudo exploratório, o aporte dos produtos derivados da cana-de-açúcar no contexto do desenvolvimento local no município de Capanema - Paraná. Essa atividade se apresenta como opção para a produção da agricultura familiar ao criar alternativa de renda nas unidades agroindustriais, além de possibilitar a diversificação da produção. Os resultados mostram que a produção de açúcar mascavo e os demais produtos derivados da cana-de-açúcar, assim como os já tradicionais produtos da agricultura familiar, têm contribuído para aumentar a renda e melhorar as condições de vida dos agricultores e, conseqüentemente, vem impulsionando o desenvolvimento local, uma vez que tem incentivado o homem a permanecer no campo. |

Hos vores største konkurrent, New Zealand, har en øget mælkeproduktion medført en vigende frøproduktion af hvidkløver.
